Very Good

This hotel location was perfect, you're right in the middle of everything and everything is within walking distance including the train station in the centre. The room as a nice size and was very clean. The only let down would be that it is advertised as a Bed and Breakfast but there was no Breakfast. This was fine for us though as we wasn't too fussed and either went out for food or ordered in. Overall we had a lovely stay. It can be a little noisy with people walking down the lane outside at night but again, this wasn't a massive problem as we knew we were off of one of main streets and it dibn't disturb us too much. Would recommend

We had never been to Amsterdam and booked a last minute trip. Good, clean room is IMPORTANT!!

The bed was extremely comfortable and location - side street - made it a home run because it was so quiet at night. The owner called me when we arrived, met us at the facility to give the key and told me to call any time. We didn't but I know he would have answered. He also called on our way out to check on our stay.

Very trivial - There were too many knick knacks in the room (P) compared to other rooms, and we had enough baggage that the room seemed cluttered.

The location was great. Once we were able to find the room, we really enjoyed the area.

It was not a Bed and Breakfast as described. No instructions on beverages or available food. We never met the owner nor was given instruction on keys until AFTER we knocked on a random door. The tenant was nice enough to get info for us.

Boogaards

It is very close to the center and a 15 min walk from the centraal station. It was extremely clean and good value for money. Self check-in was easy. They facilitated us in every way possible.

The stairs are slightly narrow and steep. People with disabilities might have a hard time climbing up. There was also no breakfast included so its only bed and no breakfast.

Stay away from this property.. a thief!!

we got to the place and followed the instructions we opened the door to the P room to find other people in the bed! it was uncomfortable neither for us nor for the people staying in the room, later on the guy working there told us the there was a mistake and we had to sleep the first night in the J room, much smaller room and not what we paid for. The guy working there who was on the phone with the property’s owner told us that we wont be charged for the first night due to the mistake done as explained and we will get a reimbursement for the amount paid for that night. While still in the property we contacted the facility owner regarding the reimbursement as promised and we didn’t get any response, we received a text back from him a couple of days later saying that he won’t give us back the money payed for the first night as promised. When we involved booking he told them thats it was never happened, he never agreed to give us the reimbursement as they promised and that he offered us also a coffee and tea! Bulshit!!! not mentioning the fact the the room wasn’t cleaned while our stay there nor were our towels changed or even never took the garbage out!! So disappointing

Nice cosy feel,very clean. In an excellent location, just 1 min walk away from DAM square. Staff were very friendly, I would not hesitate in booking the property again.

I loved staying here perfect location,the room was clean, comfy bed, nice bathroom with shower big front room decor was pug themed. On the landing outside was were we could get breakfast, cans of pop, coffee, milk, breads and jam, biscuits which is included in price. Also we was greeted by the owner who showed us on a map where all the best places to go and gave us a app to use on our phone to help us guide us around Amsterdam I would recommend this bnb to anyone who's traveling there as I think it is the best by far and hope to return one day.

What would you highlight about Boogaards Bed and Breakfast

Igor was a really good host (even though we didn't see him for 50% of our trip) he made sure that we know what is around us which really helped! We were able to plot were we wanted to go more efficiently because of his help. The property itself is a 3 storey house with a rooftop terrace. We loved that despite the size of the building from the outside the room and dining space was roomy, definitely more than what we thought we get. This property is super central! Everything is within 15 minutes walk and the walk is not uneventful! The room is very stylish and very nicely decorated. Lots and lots of pillows! I told my partner that I want that room in our house! The en suite is also comfortable; not too small but not too big either. I loved that there is a choice of a normal shower head or 'rain "style" shower head. The rooftop terrace is another part of the property which you can go to! Is it too much of me to say we love it too? Well we did... for the 30 minutes we were up there :( (It rained and snowed when we went). But we can definitely see ourselves coming back in King's Day or in the summer when the weather has improved.

Located in a quiet side street but close to everything you need around the shopping and canal district. Offer of a modest cooked breakfast as well as the usual continental fare was a nice surprise. Room was clean and cosy and a nice place to come back to after a long day out. Staff very nice but unobtrusivel.
